Digital Transformation Hub

The Digital Transformation Hub aims to support and shape, through research and other activities, the process of digital transformation that health and social care organizations and services are currently undergoing. It does so starting from the Italian NHS but contributes also to the international debate on the digital transformation of health and social care systems.
The Hub aims to gather a large community of diverse stakeholders interested in digital transformation including patients and their associations, health and social managers both in the public and private sectors, health and social care professionals, policy makers, and digital technology developers.
The research projects of the Hub deal with the integration in health and social care services and organizations of a variety of digital technological solutions including telehealth, applications (App) and mobile health, artificial intelligence, digital therapeutics, electronic health records and robotics in a variety of applications such as in chronic care, oncology, infectious diseases, ageing and impacting diverse type of services, including imaging, drugs logistics, laboratory information systems, emergency and non-emergency settings, primary and elderly care.
In the hub, CeRGAS researchers exhibit the research projects they are involved in, their main results and put forward their reflections on the topic of digital transformation applied to health and social care. The Hub produces also ad hoc analyses about the readiness, transferability and transformational impact of digital solutions, powered by the LIFT Lab of SDA Bocconi School of Management.
The Hub also connects whoever is interested in the topic of digital transformation in health and social care with other research projects carried out in the context of the CeRGAS Observatories and the educational activities promoted by researchers at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
The Hub is the result also of the work conducted by Bocconi researchers within the MUSA – Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action – Project, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), Mission 4 Component 2 Investment Line 1.5.
